Curious Yogis Come Energize Your Fall at Quincy Yoga & Massage (So many special events at the studio!)

Whether you realize it or not, you spend the majority of your day doing things you’ve already done hundreds or thousands of times before. Very rarely do you actually try new things for the purpose of engaging a unique experience.

But what if you made it a point to do exactly that? We know you might not be new to yoga, however have you ever tried arm balances, partner yoga, or meditation?! If not, come try something new at one of our unique fall events!

November 16 – Arm Balances for All Workshop

 

Arm balances are touted as a lighthearted way to help us change our perspective and face our fears. No doubt a useful skill both on and off the yoga mat!

During this workshop we will build arm-balances from the ground up by exploring and developing an understanding of core strength, muscle engagement, alignment and flexibility so you can safely enter and exit the poses.

November 22 – COME TOGETHER: PartnerYoga

 

Dinner and a movie is a classic combo, but why not shake up tradition — and your usual routine — with a yoga date?

Come Together is a night of lighthearted and fun partner yoga poses and massage techniques which are meant to help strengthen the bond between partners.

December 7: Mindfulness for Stress & Anxiety

 

Come learn about and practice breath and mediation techniques to soothe the mind and body.

Discover how stress and anxiety affects the mind, and how we can introduce mindfulness meditation to cultivate ease throughout the day. This is introduction to mindfulness and meditation with no yoga poses, all experience levels welcome, including beginners.

December 14: Yoga for Stress & Anxiety

 

Do you often feel stressed, anxious or overwhelmed? Chronic stress and anxiety are conditions that afflict more of us than ever before.

This simple, Yoga For Stress and Anxiety Workshop with Jeanne Dasaro will take you on a journey to explore yoga as a powerful tool to calm the mind and balance the nervous system. Come learn about the nervous system, restorative yoga, mindful breathing techniques and aromatherapy. All levels and experience levels welcome, including beginners.
