Originally drawn to yoga as a physical practice that provided creative movement combinations like the dance she’d studied earlier in life, Jayne discovered over time that yoga had more dimensions than the physical poses and “flow” progressions (which are fun!).

She discovered the practice and effects of yoga to be simple but profound, encouraging one to become more grounded and centered, while allowing for greater flexibility – on and off the mat, physically and mentally. Focusing into the present moment, breathing and moving with the breath, gently finding one’s balance (then “losing” it and finding it again) is an ongoing practice that helps to cultivate a mind/body alignment.

As a teacher, she offers opportunities to explore the power of amindful practice of yoga, and she is honored to hold space and guide practice for others, as she continues to learn and share in the journey.

She is grateful for the insights and support of her teachers and fellow yogis. She is a RYT 200, and completed her teacher training with Jacqui Bonwell through Sacred Seeds Yoga.
