Class Details

This lusciously slow and meditative practice is the yogic prescription for chronic tension, feelings of overwhelm, long-term physical imbalance, and/or exhaustion. It is the perfect compliment to more vigorous yoga styles, and a great balancer for high-stress living. Yin yoga targets the body’s connective tissue. Unlike our Vinyasa / Flow (yang) practice, yin yoga is a slower paced class with long held passive poses this nurturing and gentle practice, using multiple pillows and props. This class is beneficial to any students who are looking to deeply relax and explore each posture. It is also a great option for students with special health needs and/or injuries, those in care-taking positions, and anyone seeking a calming and renewing adaptation of classic Yoga poses. Open to all levels.
