Class Details

Reflect Yourself is a lusciously slow and meditative workshop to foster self-awareness and deepen bodily awareness through a yin yoga practice.

In this workshop, you will further develop your consciousness and bodily awareness to build your well-being and positive mental health

This workshop will include:

  • a self-awareness assessment
  • learning to utilize the breath to foster self-awareness
  • an overview of the chakra system in yoga
  • a 60 minute yin yoga class
  • a guided meditation
  • instruction on how to practice yin yoga at home

Why self reflection?

Awareness is knowing what’s happening around you. Self-awareness is the ability to know what you are doing and why you are doing it.Greater self-awareness leads to greater well-being and positive mental health.

Why Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga is a slower paced class with long held passive poses this nurturing and gentle practice, using multiple pillows and props. It is the yogic prescription for chronic tension, feelings of overwhelm, long-term physical imbalance, and/or exhaustion.
